“Let's Bubble”, enjoy your drink or food in glass domes with a view of the Acropolis

We have seen them in documentaries about life in Alaska. Nowadays though, we are seeing many igloos at the rooftops of luxurious hotels or as a suggestion for an alternative night in exotic destinations. Recently, this trend has emerged in Greece too, and three igloos made their appearance on the rooftop of the Noema Hotel.

Let's bubble.

Originally, the idea came from the customers of the hotel who, despite the low winter temperatures, insisted on visiting the rooftop with the breathtaking view of the Acropolis and enjoying their coffee or food there. The inspiration itself came from a trip of the owner abroad and, at the end of February, three magnificent igloos were installed at the rooftop of the hotel, in which the guests can enjoy their coffee, cocktail or dinner, selecting dishes from the restaurant’s menu.

This venture is called “Let's Bubble”. The igloos are constructed from a transparent material that allows for an unobstructed view of the Acropolis and the whole city of Athens, while each igloo can accommodate up to six persons. The inside temperature is regulated by the guests, who enjoy their lunch or dinner in total privacy and in all weather conditions...

Let's Bubble.

The rooftop welcomes the residents as well as guests of the hotel and is open for lunch and dinner, offering a carefully crafted wine list along with an interesting menu of cocktails. A one-of-a-kind idea to enjoy on any day, at sunset when the sky turns red, orange, and pink, or on a night when the rain creates its own special effects, perfect for couples that wish to live the ultimate romantic experience or groups of friends who want an alternative way of entertainment.
