Candidates respond to tender for leasing of Vouliagmenis Beach

Nearly 26 candidates responded to the open international tender, announced earlier in May by the Public Properties Company (ETAD), for the 15-year leasing of Vouliagmenis Beach in Attica. The candidates’ “list” includes hotel businesses, catering companies, an overseas investment fund and one cruise company. ETAD’s main objective is for the organized beach to fully operate with a capacity of at least 2,500 visitors, while along with the beach property, the tender further includes the building complex “Okeanidas,” which was built in the 60s, however now stands deserted and unexploited.

Vouliagmenis Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Attica. According to press, the beach was recently visited by almost 7,000 bathers in just one day.

The deadline for the interested parties to submit their bids is the 29th of July.
