Civil aviation employees call for 48-hour strike

The union representing staff at Civil Aviation called for a 48-hour strike on Monday June 30 and Tuesday July 1st, in demand for more state funding. Air-traffic controllers will not be participating to the protest, so no major flight disruptions are expected, on the upcoming of the tourism high season. However, authorities warned travellers they should be prepared for some delays.
