Ecotours to run at the Antonis Tritsis Park

The Hellenic Ornithological Society invites visitors’ groups to join the “ecotours” running at the “Antonis Tritsis Park”. Participants will have the opportunity for creative activity and learning about the natural environment and the birds in urban areas in a unique Park for Greece. The activities include: Visit to the Orientation & Information Center, Field trip “Lake route”, Briefing on the Park's lake, forest and rural ecosystems and the bird fauna they sustain, Bird watching, Orientation and movement in the wild and Voluntary work, such as planting, construction, cleaning, etc. The “A. Tritsis” Environmental Education & Sensitisation Park expands in 900 acres and is considered one of the last refuges of wildlife in the Athens urban environment. “Ecotours” will run until May 31, 2015.
