Greek MPs have recently submitted an amendment to a bill for tourism that sets new standards for the development of agri-tourism in Greece. Among other things, the amendment defines all activities related to agri-tourism and the types of businesses and accommodation units that can practice the alternative form of tourism, and names relevant products and services. Furthermore, the amendment indicates the process a Greek enterprise would need to follow in order to receive a license and obtain the special agri-tourism seal for operating as an agri-tourism establishment.
The final text of the Greek tourism bill will be discussed by the 100-member summer session of Parliament.
