New wing inaugurated in Evangelismos hospital

Evangelismos Hospital grew “bigger” as a new wing was inaugurated by Health Minister Makis Voridis earlier this week. The all-new building includes two orthopaedic operating rooms and two of the largest cardiological operating rooms in the country, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Also, two neurological rooms large enough to hold magnetic tomographers, and a hybrid operating room that can be directly converted to handle a switch in surgical procedures. Several other facilities and equipment, such as laboratories and sterilising, are also provided. The new wing is donated by National Bank.
