Ships docked due to high winds

Ships will remain docked at the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio, as the strong northern winds still blowing will be in parts reaching speeds of 8 to 9 on the Beaufort scale.
Services from the town of Volos, central Greece, to the islands of Sporades and from Kyllini, western Greece, to Kephalonia and Zakynthos are also been cancelled.
The route from Lefkimi in western Greece to Hegoumenitsa will not be in service, while routes from Hegoumenitsa to Corfu will only run with closed ferries.
Only the ship routes from Piraeus port to Salamina island will continue to run.
The Greek Coast Guard advises those who plan to travel to contact their travel agents and port authorities for the latest updates.
