Lufthansa pilots go on strike


A new strike is scheduled by pilots of German Lufthansa airlines for Monday and Tuesday, 1-2/12, announced the German Vereinigung Cockpit pilots union on Sunday. The strike begins on December 1, 1 am GMT and ends on December 2 at 10.59 p.m. GMT, according to the union’s statement published on its official web page. Apart from the above, Lufthansa Cargo pilots will strike on December 2 from 2.00 a.m. GMT until 10.59 p.m. GMT.
The union apologizes for any inconvenience caused to the passengers, and calles on Lufthansa’s management to find a solution to the tariff dispute as soon as possible.
