"Europe in Dialogue with Antiquity»: An exhibition at the Athens airport

Looking through the similarities in the intellectual and material heritage of the people of Europe and the Mediterranean, the exhibition “Eurolog: Europe in Dialogue with Antiquity” that is currently hosted at the Athens International Airport invites visitors into the knowledge of antiquity as a way of understanding and reasoning the present and the future. The relationships, the various related forms of communication and life are a strong connection element in both the antique and the present world as the constant cultural interchange has left indelible traces within societies.  People in the European-Mediterranean area share a common past, which remains evident in the present. The exhibition was inaugurated by the German Embassy in Athens and Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe curator Dr. Katarina Horst. It will run until March 29.
