Greece in top 10 of Britons’ destinations

Recognized as one of the most popular tourism destinations among British travelers, Greece is placed sixth in the top 10 list of countries British holidaymakers have visited, while is also included among the top 5 destinations of their “wish list”, according to the established reader survey of Conde Nast Traveller (CNT), the world leading travel and leisure magazine. In the 2014 survey, Greece features in the top 10 list of the visited destinations after England, France, Italy, the United States and Spain. Germany ranks seventh followed by Scotland, Dubai and countries of the Middle East (UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel). The survey also suggests that British travelers would plan their holidays in Greece within the next two years, having included our country in their top 5 “wish list”, as it has a plethora of boutique luxury properties, promising original experiences and is offered for all popular types of holidays. The CNT reader survey is conducted every three years.
