Venizelos: Greece and Turkey share similar views on terrorism

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Evangelos Venizelos pushed back Turkish Prime Minister’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan allegations, made earlier this week, about Kurdish terrorists to be trained in camps in Greece. Erdogan might have “confused” Greece with another country, said Venizelos during a press conference. In counter-terrorism efforts “we have received praise from Turkey,” the Deputy Prime Minister added, stressing that the two countries have a “convergence of views” on the issue.
