British singer and songwriter Marianne Faithfull has been hospitalised after falling and breaking her hip, while on holiday in Greece, on the Eastern Aegean island of Rhodes. The celebrated 67-year-old pop and rock singer had a surgery and she will be staying in hospital for about a week, said the orthopaedic surgeon who treats Faithfull on a news agency.
