Full moon night at the Acropolis Museum

What better place to watch the magnificent, and much celebrated, August full moon fondling down the Acropolis rock, but the Acropolis Museum that organizes a “special night” that night, on Sunday August 10 2014, with opera classics, film music and famous Greek melodies, performed by the historic Hellenic Air Force Band, in the Museum’s entrance courtyard at 9:30 p.m.

On the occasion of this “full moon” Sunday, the Museum will also remain open from 8 a.m. to midnight with free entry for all visitors from 9 p.m. onwards, giving them the opportunity to stroll through the galleries and enjoy that night’s enchanting view of the Acropolis.
