Placebo to perform live in Athens

Placebo will “meet” their fans in Greece on Friday August 8, for a one-time performance at the “Irinis & Philias” Stadium at Neo Faliro, on the southern Attica coast, as part of their international tour. The gloomy London-based band will be also presenting its latest album “Loud Like Love,” which was released in September 2013 by Universal.

Opening act by Sigmatropic, the indie-rock band founded in 1997 by Akis Boyiatzis, who left his early 80s new wave punk persona aside and sifted into the fields of home-studio computer-based electronica.
