Free transportation for the unemployed

Long-term unemployed will have free access to all public transportation means with the use of a free pass card, according to an initiative of the Greek government that corresponds to a pledge by Greek PM Alexis Tsipras to support the groups of citizens affected the most by the economic crisis. As said the Deputy Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, Christos Spirtzis, the initiative would be implemented by the summer.
