Traffic disruptions in Piraeus due to Tram works

The work to extend the Tram line from the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) in Neo Faliro to Piraeus has begun bringing traffic restrictions along with it that could make access to the port an adventurous endeavor. Especially those rushing to catch a ferry should consider allowing ample time before scheduled departures. Traffic diversions set in place by authorities, which drivers are strongly advised to follow, will also affect bus routes. Those moving with public transportation should be prepared for delays. The Tram extension work is scheduled to last until October 2016.
