Nymfaio village is a traditional settlement of Mount Vernon at an altitude of 1.350 m in a stunning natural landscape in West Macedonia, Greece. As of 2011 the village had a population of 132 residents.The village is protected by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture in order to preserve its architectural integrity.It has been singled out as one of the ten most picturesque villages of Europe, according to UNESCO. Nymfaio is a year round charming destination as it combines remarkable beauty of nature, unique traditional guesthouses and numerous cafes and restaurants.
