A total lunar eclipse occurs tonight, the 15th of April, and will be visible on the night sky. This rare astrological phenomenon, recorded once every 500 years, is the first of a series of four lunar eclipses; the following three are expected on October 8, 2014 and on April 4 and September 28 of 2015.
They call it “Bloody moon” because the moon takes a distinctive red colour. Spooky and fascinating.
