Greek China Town to be built next to Athens International Airport

Plans for a Greek China Town to be built next to Athens International Airport are in the making with a new property to be added to the city plan offering large-scale investment opportunities. As the “Greek Reporter” news portal reports, representatives of a big real estate company from China have recently visited Greece and expressed their interest in purchasing a large piece of land in Markopoulos, Athens, to build a China Town, where Chinese people who love Greece would buy their holiday houses. According to the municipality of Markopoulos, it is an area of approximately 10 hectares to be added to the city plan in 6-8 months and as Mayor Sotiris Methenitis sees it, a huge opportunity to create a large residential project that will change the area emerges.
