Bill to rehire public workers ready by end of March

Processing the necessary reforms in the public sector should be completed in the next six months, told Alternate Administrative Reform Minister Giorgos Katrougalos at Kathimerini, noting that the first legislation, including the rehiring of some 3,500 workers who had “unjustly” lost their jobs, would be ready by end-March. “We want a state that will reduce social inequalities and provide a safety net”, said Katrougalos. “We are against the spirit of the reforms of the past”, he added.
