Development Minister argues that "2014 is a positive year"

A “distinctive progress which should be maintained and intensified” is seen in the investment climate, said Development and Competitiveness Minister Costis Hatzidakis during a joint press conference with Deputy Development Minister Notis Mitarachi and the head of the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE) Nikos Filippas, held for the presentation of KEPE’s survey on investments in Greece. However it is not yet time to celebrate” said Mr. Hatzidakis, “the election results this coming Sunday will be a crucial element”. “Let’s not fool ourselves,” he added, “all positive developments are based on the citizens’ sacrifices and the government’s effort. We have reached the turning point before we take off. This is not the time to cast the Greeks’ achievements into doubt with our vote. We should give a new momentum and secure what we have accomplished. 2014 is a positive year”, he concluded. According to KEPE’s survey data, 37.6 billion euros have been invested to Greece during the last two years.
