Greece sixth in visa-free travel

Greece is placed among the top six country groups in the world that offer visa-free travel freedom, reveals the annual Visa Restriction index for 2014 recently released by Henley & Partners consultants, according to which passport holders from the first group - the UK, the United States, Finland, Germany and Sweden - have access to 174 countries visa free. Canada and Denmark follow, allowing access to 173 countries, while Belgium, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain to 172. Austria, Ireland and Norway provide access to 171, New Zealand, Singapore and Switzerland to 170. Greece ranks sixth, with visa free travel to 169 countries.
The Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions index is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy.
