Hellenic rescue team joins volunteer efforts in flood-ridden Serbia and Bosnia

Eight members of the Hellenic Rescue Team, active under the umbrella of the United Nation’s INSARAG unit, will join the huge volunteer efforts ongoing in the areas of Serbia and Bosnia where the heavy rainfall in recent days has resulted to the worst floods ever experienced in the Balkan’s modern history. At least 44 people are reported dead. Some 10,000 have been forced away from their homes.
