Interior Minister Yiannis Michelakis filed a complaint to the president of the polling and marketing companies association about the great deviation between exit poll results and the final voting count during Sunday’s local government elections. “This happens in Greece for the first time” said the Minister in his letter, and resulted in “creating entirely unsubstantiated impressions and confusing public opinion during the last phase of the voting process”.
