Medicins Sans Frontieres run in the Athens Marathon

The Greek chapter of the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) suits up with its running gear to participate in the 2014 Athens Marathon. Under the “Runners Without Borders” flag and with the word “every kilometre counts” they run for the victims of humanitarian crises and those in need all around the globe and call for the people’s support to their cause. If you wish to run alongside the MSF “Runners” team, visit the organization’s offices at 15, Xenias St., Athens, between 9am and 5pm (tel.: 210 5200.500) and sign up, or do so electronically at their web page, by August 29.

The 2014 Athens Marathon will take place on November 9.

Last year, nearly 1,060 people joined the MSF’s running “forces”.
