Russian tourists stranded in Greece after yet a noter tour operator goes bankrupt

The list of Russian tour operators going bankrupt keeps pilling up, with the latest entry, Versa operator, based in St. Petersburg, to raising their number to 14. Versa represents nearly 2,000 clients in Greece at the moment. Earlier this year, major tour operators such as Solvex and Southern Cross have gone bankrupt, alarming Greece over the impact on tourism and revenues, when it has been estimated that the closure of the tour operators have resulted in 15 million euros damages in the tourist sector.
