A seven-year-old boy was found in a water barrel at Volos, in the area of Nea Ionia.
The boy was found and removed from the barrel by neighbours, before transferred to a local hospital by a National First Aid Center (EKAB) unit called to the scene, where, despite doctors’ efforts, didn’t survived.
Police is now investigating the circumstances of this tragic incident.
