Within its context, entrepreneurs operating or wishing to set up shop in Athens are invited to join forces in tackling major social issues offering fresh ideas for far-reaching change. Rising to specific needs of Athens-based entrepreneurs, the social entrepreneurship program identifies problem areas and provides training and consulting services that would develop or improve entrepreneurs’ ideas. The event will also include a panel discussion on “Cities as Centers of Growth and Support for Social Entrepreneurship” that will focus on good practices and ways for cities to tap into the potential of social entrepreneurship and its positive return to local communities.
