University administrative staff remain in the reserve for another eight months

Upon decision of the Ministry of Education, dozens of university administrative staff, who have been placed in a labour pool last year, are to remain in the reserve for another eight months. Less fortunate however are administrative employees from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and the University of Ioannina, whose period in the labour pool ends on May 24 and no alternative employment for them was offered.

A total of 1,158 university staff from 8 educational institutions found themselves caught into the public sector mobility scheme on September 24.
