Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is travelling to Berlin today, Monday, to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. According to government sources, the two leaders, shot of pressure after the seven-party meeting on the sidelines of the EU summit in Brussels that had changed the climate between the two countries, will discuss the economic crisis, bilateral relations on a political, economic and diplomatic level, regional issues and the EU’s future. After their meeting, which is scheduled for 17.00 (local time) Tsipras and Merkel will make joint statements and will answer questions, while a working lunch is also to be held at the end with five associates from each side.
