From north to south, Athens “flourishes” into vast gardens bursting of spring essences. The 61st Kifissia Flower Show opened its doors at the “Dimitris Zomopoulos” Park, where visitors can wander around the 2,000 different plants, spices, and herbs, get expert advice concerning garden designs and terraces and information about which plants to choose and how to take care of them. The show is enriched with panel talks about nature, elaborating different topics every day, cooking sessions with fresh herbs in the outdoor kitchen, interactive workshops, theater and music performances. The Show will be open until May 10, from 10 a.m. to midnight, with free admission.
Also Piraeus hosts its 5th Flower Show at Tinaneios Garden on Vassileos Georgiou Avenue that features thousands of flowers and plant varieties. The show is open every day from 9 a.m. to 21.00p.m., and will run until May 15.
