Piraeus - acropolis express bus runs again

The X80 Express bus line that links Piraeus cruise terminal with the Acropolis and downtown Athens has been running again, giving an opportunity to tourists arriving in Athens by cruise ships to reach the capital’s center in 30 minutes passing through some of the most popular sites of Piraeus and Athens, from the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus to the Planitarium, from the Municipal Theater of Piraeus and the National Museum of Contemporary Art to the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis and Syntagma Square.
The bus line covers a circling route of 25 kilometers, from Piraeus to Athens and back again at the port’s cruise terminal, in 60 minutes.  The line makes 15 stops connected with metro stations as well (“Sygrou-Fix” and “Syntagma”). It operates all seven week days from 7 a.m. with departures every 30 minutes, while for the X80 rides there are two types of tickets that can be used, the €4 ticket that is valid for use on the metro, buses and trams in the city center for 24 hours, or the €20 tourist ticket that is valid for 3 days of travel, available also through the “TfA tickets” application (mobile ticketing).
