When you hear the word “lobby” what is the first image that comes to your mind? Probably a cold reception area with revolving glass doors and a polite receptionist. Surely you can't imagine exuberant burgers, nice cocktails and the best meatballs you've eaten in a long time. Yet this is exactly the scene at the side entrance of the glamorous Electra Metropolis Hotel, where a fantastic burger project has been set up over the last year under the intriguing name “Lobby”.

The Lobby is there for those difficult hours after the office or in between shopping, when you want to taste something delicious along with friends, chat and raise your glasses with perfect cocktails, while at the same time enjoying the pulse of the city. Here, the protagonists are the juicy burgers and sliders (i.e., small burgers) which, apart from being very tasty, are also relatively unexpected (you will find a burger with prime Wagyu or a lamb burger). Still, we personally go again and again for the meatballs!

Like every dish on the menu, these are not ordinary meatballs. They are made with minced Black Angus and are served with sweet and spicy sauce. They are so delicious that, for a moment, you almost forget your grandmother's meatballs. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, you really have to make an effort to share them, when in fact all you want is to keep them for yourself. They are served with the necessary side dish, i.e. French fries, and one (more) cocktail from the excellent cocktail list (be warned, you will find it difficult to choose, they are all exquisite…). See, you don’t need anything else, you're already happy.
