National Railway suspends stoppages due to Easter

Workers at the National Railway (TRAINOSE) service have suspended their protest stoppages that would affect passenger train schedules today and tomorrow, in order to facilitate Easter holiday travellers.

However, 24-hour rolling strikes by employees in cargo services were expected to continue throughout Holy Week until Easter Sunday.
